Grassroots, Community Board, Community ResourceFall marks the launch of our latest Vibrant Communities tele-learning seminar series ‘Foundation.’ This two-part series explores two concepts that have proven useful in understanding the nature of poverty and the phases of multi-year efforts to reduce poverty.
In the first call of the series, ‘Framing Poverty as a Complex Issue & Why that Matters,’ Liz Weaver and Mark Cabaj will make the case for framing poverty as a complex issue, describe key features of complex issues, and explore the implications for leading and managing a community-wide effort to reduce poverty. The call is scheduled for Thursday, September 24th at 12:00 pm EDT, and registration is now open!
