Still Tasty
Your Ultimate Shelf Life Guide – Save Money, Eat Better, Help The EnvironmentVisit this site and see what the ‘normal’ people (with money) are eating. See what is actually meant by the word FOOD. See what real body fuel money will buy and health afforded you as a result. Look at how beautiful it looks when healthy! Look at the colours! Compare it to the food bank offerings we are dependent on. If you want to know why we look different, here is your answer. That, and the money for university and braces and family support to fall back on. In the “third” world (what are we “first”? god help us if we are) we don’t blame them, but in Canada they blame us.

I tried to lift the info but of course, sharing is strictly prohibited, so here’s the web site. www.stilltasty.com

Lick your lips, feast your eyes, on what the vip’s are eating. cheers!

  1. I’m guessing the standards on this site will be quite different than the guidelines that food banks follow; in fact, for the most part, that food is already past due when it’s donated by huge corporations such as Loblaw’s. I suppose you could call a bowl of rice every day food too and fortunate if push came to shove. There’s hunger and then there’s hunger? Just where is the cut off? K-D and tuna? A body in starvation mode though not yet dead? Look at the teeth and hair and skin and the high rates of disease and addiction.
Look at the waste of talent and skill, the oppression and stigma. This is Canadian style poverty! Some eat, others eat the leftovers.
