Premier McGuinty, Minister Meilleur, and Jim Brownell MPP, the ODSP Action Coalition has released an excellent document “Stupid Rules, Dire Consequences” highlighting bad rules in ODSP Directives that can be quickly changed by Cabinet. Please immediately publicly commit to quickly implementing this report’s recommendations and respect the fundamental equality of disabled people on ODSP. There is no reason to wait until the Social Assistance Review is completed. Each day these bad ODSP rules will harm more disabled people until Cabinet chooses to act.
